Location: Remote, but with possible monthly in-person meetings in London or Southampton. Plus the opportunity to attend major Veterinary events such as The London Vet Show or Vet clinics as required

Role Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner to join our team. As a Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in the development and execution of our product roadmap, ensuring we align with market demands, customer needs, and strategic business objectives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, prioritise features, and drive the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Roadmap: Assist the CPO with the development and execution of the product roadmap, incorporating market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback to identify strategic opportunities for growth and innovation
Requirement Gathering and Prioritisation: Collaborate with stakeholders, including customers, internal teams, and leadership, to gather and prioritize product requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs
New features, improvements and bugs: Translate client pains and gains into clear and actionable requirements and acceptance criteria for development teams, facilitating a shared understanding of project objectives and deliverables
Release Planning and Management: Coordinate with support, development, design, and QA teams to plan and manage the successful delivery of product releases
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support, to drive product initiatives from conception to launch
Product Performance Monitoring: Monitor key product metrics, user feedback, and market trends to evaluate product performance, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions to optimise the product experience
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for product-related inquiries, updates, and escalations, maintaining open and transparent communication with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years experience as a Product Owner, Digital Product Manager or similar role in a SaaS product company
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, or related field
Conversant with Kanban, and experience working in an agile development environment
Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to drive product strategy, define product requirements, and prioritise features based on market insights and customer feedback
Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement
Experience with tools such as JIRA, Productboard, Figma, Slack, Google Suite, Google Analytics
